Presshook
Presshook makes discovering new brands and products easier for publicists and journalists. They came to Mobelux looking for a product team to revamp their current product to better serve their new user types along with an overall style refresh.

The old views weren’t helping their users discover new or recommended brands and products as easily as they would like. We revamped their search experience by incorporating elastic search and relevant tags like brand, product, guide, etc. We also made the navigation super straight forward to funnel their users in the right direction.
We did a total refresh of how their products and brands were being displayed. We treated the UX similarly to an e-commerce experience - a familiar pattern that would help journalists funnel down categories with filters so that they could easily find what they needed to write their next story.
We knew Presshook’s longterm goal was to start recommending products and brands that seemed relevant to the user’s interests set in onboarding. We created a new dashboard for journalists, where they could toggle through recommendations based on their profile, trending products & brands, and recently added.
By doing this, we could keep the journalist’s homepage diverse and exciting, which also increased each brand’s chances of being sourced for new publicity.
Other exciting features that we produced were a messaging area, profile editor, and sample request views.
